There was no surprise when 8th ranked Roseto (9-8) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Alma Trieste (11-6) 79-69 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Parks (201-94, college: N.C.Central, agency: Two Points) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Matteo Da Ros (204-89) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. American power forward Brandon Sherrod (198-92, college: Yale) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Nicola Mei (186-85) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Alma Trieste moved-up to third place in A2. Loser Roseto keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Alma Trieste will face Chieti (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Roseto will play against Bondi Ferrara (#13) and hope to win that game.
