No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Piacenza (10-7) defeated on the road 10th ranked Udine APU (7-10) 79-72 on Sunday. Piacenza forced 19 Udine APU turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. Guard Tommaso Raspino (200-89, agency: Players Group) chipped in 14 points. Nigerian-American swingman Stan Okoye (198-91, college: VMI) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Allan Ray (188-84, college: Villanova) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Udine APU's coach Lino Lardo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Piacenza maintains sixth place in A2 with 10-7 record. Newly promoted Udine APU dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Piacenza will face Verona (#10) at home in the next round. Udine APU will play against Recanati and hope to win that game.
