Regular Season Round 19: CFBB - GET Vosges 59-89

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 18th consecutive match to fifth ranked GET Vosges (12-7) 89-59 on Friday evening. The game without a history. GET Vosges led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. GET Vosges forced 22 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Steven Ricard (200-90) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St.) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four GET Vosges players scored in double figures. Point guard Yanik Blanc (184-99) came up with 14 points and forward Ivan Fevrier (203-99) added 12 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. GET Vosges have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 12-7 record. Loser CFBB still closes the standings. GET Vosges will meet at home Gries/Oberhoffen (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against the league's leader Quimper UJAP and hopes to get finally their first victory.
