9th ranked Malbas (1-17) were outscored at home by seventh ranked KFUM Jamtland (9-10) with the biggest margin this round 99-70. The game without a history. KFUM Jamtland led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Malbas' 28. American forward Preston Purifoy (196-92, college: UAB) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) supported him with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists by Danish guard Sebastian Petersen (188-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) did not help to save the game for Malbas. Danish center Lasse Elbaek (208-94) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Four KFUM Jamtland and five Malbas players scored in double figures. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. KFUM Jamtland maintains seventh position with 9-10 record. Malbas lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. KFUM Jamtland will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Malbas will play on the road against Umea (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
