AB Ancud fired past Puerto Montt to take 2-1 lead in the playoff series. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (175-89) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five AB Ancud players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Ulloa (170-90) added 9 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
