Second Stage Round 2: Norrort - BG Lulea 86-79

Taby Basket defeated BG Lulea at home 86-79. BG Lulea trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 28-21 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-86 at the end of the game. Taby Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 32. They outrebounded BG Lulea 38-14 including a 16-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Mattias Herlitz (190-94) scored 24 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Marcus Friman (203-95) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (182-98) responded with 21 points and point guard William Eriksson-Hansson (185-98) scored 16 points. Four BG Lulea players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BG Lulea will play next round against strong Jamtland II trying to get back on the winning streak. Taby Basket will try to continue on its current victory against KFUM Uppsala on the road.
