Regular Season Round 16: Germani BR - VL Pesaro 99-68
Date: January 22, 2017
Very predictable result when seventh ranked Brescia (8-8) outscored at home 14th ranked VL Pesaro (5-11) 99-68. The game without a history. Brescia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Brescia players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by VL Pesaro's players. The winners were led by American guard Lee Moore (193-95, college: UTEP) who scored that evening 15 points and 8 rebounds and international point guard Luca Vitali (201-86) supported him with 5 points and 19 assists. Four Brescia players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by American-Hungarian power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) did not help to save the game for VL Pesaro. Cameroonian center Landry Nnoko (208-94, college: Clemson) added 8 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brescia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. VL Pesaro at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Brescia's next round opponent will be AV Cantu (#13) on the road and are hoping to win another game. VL Pesaro will play against Auxilium TO and hope to win that game.
