Very predictable result when eighth ranked Latina Basket (10-8) won against at home 16th ranked Scafati (4-14) 74-61 on Sunday. It was a good game for American forward Jonathan Arledge (206-91, college: ODU, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Mitchell Poletti (205-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Tommaso Fantoni (204-85, agency: Players Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward Linton Johnson (203-80, college: Tulane, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Scafati. Latina Basket moved-up to sixth place in A2. Loser Scafati keeps the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Latina Basket will face higher ranked Agrigento (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Scafati will play against Rieti (#13) and hope to win that game.
