Very important is a home loss of third ranked Energy Invest (8-6) against sixth ranked Cactus Tbilisi (6-8) on Sunday night. Host Energy Invest was crushed by Cactus Tbilisi in Rustavi 94-75. The game was mostly controlled by Cactus Tbilisi. Energy Invest managed to win fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Energy Invest 40-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Tyler White (190-93, college: N.Kentucky) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Terik Bridgeman (198, college: William Pater.) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Cactus Tbilisi players scored in double figures. American guard Casey Kasperbauer (185, college: S.Dakota, agency: SDJ Sports) produced 23 points and center Sergo Atuashvili (223-85) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cactus Tbilisi moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Batumi and Sokhumi. Loser Energy Invest keeps the third position with six games lost. Cactus Tbilisi will meet at home league's second-placed Kutaisi in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Energy Invest will play against Sokhumi in Tbilisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
