Regular Season Round 16: Macc.Rehovot - Hapoel K/S 69-71

The most exciting game of round 16 in the National League took place in Rehovot. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Maccabi Rehovot (8-7) to fifth ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (10-6) 71-69 on Tuesday evening. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Denzel Livingston (193-93, college: Incarnate Word) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Marquis Addison (195-91, college: Missouri So., agency: XL Basketball Agency) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Kfar Saba have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ironi Nes-Ziona. Newly promoted Maccabi Rehovot keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Hapoel Kfar Saba is looking forward to face higher ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (#3) in Givataim in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Maccabi Rehovot will play at home against the league's second-placed Maccabi Raanana and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
