There was no surprise when 18th ranked Saint Chamond (4-12) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked ALM Evreux (7-9) 83-78 on Tuesday. Dominican-American forward Angel Nunez (203-91, college: S.Florida) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) chipped in 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Stephane Gombauld (205-97) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and American center Killian Larson (206-91, college: Grand Canyon, agency: Inception Sports) added 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. ALM Evreux moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Roanne and Maurienne. Saint Chamond lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. ALM Evreux will face SPO Rouen (#15) at home in the next round. Saint Chamond will play against Charleville-Mezieres having rather not much hope for a victory.
