Regular Season Round 16: Blois - Vichy Clermont 91-78

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked ADA Blois (8-8) defeated at home 8th ranked JA Vichy (8-8) 91-78 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by ADA Blois. JA Vichy was better in third quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded JA Vichy 35-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. ADA Blois looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Lamayn Wilson (203-80, college: Troy) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Benjamin Monclar (191-88) chipped in 20 points and 7 assists. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. David Denave (193-85) produced 22 points and 4 assists and American point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia) added 17 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Vichy Clermont and Boulazac. ADA Blois will face league's second-placed JL Bourg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
