Regular Season Round 20: Angers BC - St Vallier 89-63

An interesting game took place in Angers where higher ranked Saint Vallier (11-9) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Angers BC (9-11) 89-63 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Angers BC. Saint Vallier was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Angers BC forced 29 Saint Vallier turnovers. Saint Vallier was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Angers BC's coach Vincent Lavandier felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) responded with 31 points (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Angers BC moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Saint Vallier dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Angers BC will face Union Rennes (#10) on the road in the next round.
