Regular Season Round 16: Stal Ostrow - Rosa Radom 82-61

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Rosa's (8-9) road loss to ninth ranked Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (10-8) 61-82 on Saturday. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. outrebounded Rosa 35-24 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) who added 12 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Stal Ostrow Wlkp. players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) responded with 13 points and 5 assists and international Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-92, agency: Promotex) scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. moved-up to eighth place. Rosa lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. will face Trefl (#9) in Sopot in the next round. Rosa will play on the road against the league's second-placed Twarde Pierniki having rather not much hope for a victory.
