Regular Season Round 18: San Vendemiano - Milano Hikkaduwa 62-79

Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Milano Urania (7-11) won against on the road 13th ranked San Vendemiano (5-13) 79-62 on Saturday. Milano Urania forced 21 San Vendemiano turnovers. San Vendemiano was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Matteo Motta (192-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Milano Urania players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) who recorded 10 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Michele Antelli (183-98) added 9 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Milano Urania moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Desio. Newly promoted San Vendemiano dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Milano Urania will face Iseo (#15) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. San Vendemiano will play against Cento and hope to win that game.
