Regular Season Round 20: Quimper - CFBB 84-68

NM1 top team - Quimper UJAP (15-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighteenth ranked CFBB (0-19) 84-68. The game was mostly controlled by Quimper UJAP. CFBB was better in fourth quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quimper UJAP dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 28. They outrebounded CFBB 40-19 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quimper UJAP players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by CFBB's players. The winners were led by Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Kevin Mondesir (204-91) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Even 16 points and 4 assists by guard Sofiane Briki (190-99) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Forward Ivan Fevrier (203-99) added 15 points for the guests. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Quimper UJAP maintains first position with 15-5 record, which they share with Souffel. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings. Quimper UJAP will play against Gries/Oberhoffen (#16) in Bischwiller in the next round which should be an easy win for them. CFBB will play on the road against Gries/Oberhoffen in Bischwiller and hopes to get finally their first victory.
