Leader Fukuoka Rizing recorded the eighteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Toyoda Gosei (4-16) 79-52. The game without a history. Fukuoka Rizing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Takuya Komoda (190-87) helped adding 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. Point guard Daisuke Sato (183-94) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Eiji Sumihiro (171-89) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. They maintain first place with 18-2 record. Loser Toyoda Gosei keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will meet Aisin AW (#5) in the next round. Toyoda Gosei will have a break next round.
