Regular Season Round 20: Sakarya BSB - Yalova Bld 89-82

TBL top team - Sakarya BSB (17-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Yalova Bld (6-14) in Sakaraya 89-82. Sakarya BSB players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) who scored that evening 22 points and center Hakan Yapar (202-84) supported him with 18 points. Even 23 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by American guard Aubrey Coleman (193-87, college: Houston, agency: HMS) did not help to save the game for Yalova Bld. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Four Yalova Bld players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sakarya BSB maintains first position with 17-3 record, which they share with Eskisehir Basket. Newly promoted Yalova Bld keeps the thirteenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Sakarya BSB will play against Pertevniyal (#12) in Istanbul in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yalova Bld will play at home against Akhisar Bld and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
