There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Giulianova (6-11) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Ortona (6-11) 78-74 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was power forward Gianluca Di Carmine (200-86) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Raffaele Martone (208-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Ortona players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) who recorded 22 points and 4 assists and point guard Antonello Ricci (190-92) added 18 points respectively. Ortona moved-up to eleventh place in B. Ortona will face league's second-placed Bisceglie on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
