Very expected game when 10th ranked RSV Eintracht (5-12) lost to second ranked Oldenburg (12-5) in Stahnsdorf 75-83 on Sunday. Power forward Marcel Kessen (207-97) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. The former international Philip Zwiener (201-85) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Josh Adeyeye (196-93, college: Jacksonville) added 20 points in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Five Oldenburg and four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. RSV Eintracht's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Oldenburg keeps a position of North leader, which they share with Art.Dragons and Bernau. RSV Eintracht lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Oldenburg will face league's leader SSV Lok Bernau at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. RSV Eintracht will play against the league's second-placed Artland Dragons (#2) in Quakenbrueck and hope to win that game.
