Regular Season Round 16: ZTE KK - Szolnok 78-86

The most important game in the last round took place in Zalaegerszeg between second ranked ZTE KK (10-6) and fifth ranked Szolnok (10-6) on Thursday night. ZTE KK was defeated by Szolnok in a tough game at home 78-86. ZTE KK was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Szolnok made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Luksa Andric (208-85, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) replied with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and forward Szilard Benke (196-95) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ZTE KK. Four Szolnok and five ZTE KK players scored in double figures. Szolnok have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated ZTE KK. Szolnok is looking forward to face league's second-placed Falco KC in Szombathely in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ZTE KK will play on the road against Szedeak in Szeged and is hoping to win this game.
