Regular Season Round 21: Dacin Tigers - Pauian 82-85

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Dacin Tigers (16-7) against fifth ranked Pauian on Friday night. Pauian were edged by fifth ranked Pauian (11-13) 85-82. The former international swingman Chi-Wei Lee (192-93) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 25 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pauian maintains fifth place with 11-13 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side still keep top position with seven games lost. Pauian are looking forward to face league's second-placed Fubon Braves in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dacin Tigers will play against Yulon Luxgen and are hoping to win this game.
