Very predictable result when sixth ranked Salzkotten (11-8) rolled over at home 13th ranked Hagen-Haspe (3-16) 104-75 on Saturday. Salzkotten shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for American guard Bryce Leavitt (193-94, college: Seattle Pacific) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Alan Boger (194-96) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Salzkotten players scored in double figures. American forward Salathiel Ligons (201-84) answered with 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Oscar Luchterhandt (195-91) added 18 points in the effort for Hagen-Haspe. Hagen-Haspe's coach Ulrich Overhoff gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Salzkotten moved-up to fifth place in West, which they share with Dorsten. Hagen-Haspe lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Salzkotten will face Dorsten (#6) on the road in the next round. Hagen-Haspe will play against Duesseldorf (#8) and hope to win that game.
