The game in Sakiai was also quite interesting. Second ranked Nafta-Uni. (24-9) played at the court of 7th ranked Vytis (16-17). Nafta-Uni. managed to secure a 9-point victory 69-60 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vytis. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Vytis was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Guard Erikas Kubilius (194-95) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Paulius Beliavicius (194-88) replied with 12 points and 4 assists and center Edvinas Jezukevicius (207-90) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Vytis. Nafta-Uni. maintains second position with 24-9 record having just six point less than leader Suduva-Mantinga. Loser Vytis keeps the seventh place with 17 games lost. Nafta-Uni. will face Silute (#6) on the road in the next round. Vytis will play against Telsiai and hope to win that game.
