Swingman Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Nick Victor (196-92, college: Yale) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Gimle BBK in the defeat. Four Gimle BBK players scored in double figures. Gimle BBK's coach Audun Eskeland gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Baerum Basket have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain second place with 17-5 record having just three points less than leader Kongsberg. Gimle BBK at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with Centrum. Baerum Basket will play against Asker Aliens (#6) at home in the next round. Gimle BBK will play against Persbraten in Oslo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
