Regular Season Round 5: Aspac - Pelita Jaya 68-65

A very interesting game took place in Jakarta. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Pelita Jaya (1-3) to fifth ranked Aspac (3-1) 68-65 on Sunday evening. Pelita Jaya was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 18-10 third quarter run of Aspac. Abraham-Damar Grahita (201-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Andakara Prastawa Dhyaksa (173-92) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American-Jamaican forward Kore White (205-89, college: S.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Winston Grays (188-96, college: JMU, agency: SDJ Sports) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Pelita Jaya. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aspac moved-up to second place, which they share with CLS Knights. Pelita Jaya at the other side keeps the ninth position with three games lost. Aspac's next round opponent will be Pacific Caesar (#4) in Surabaya.
