No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Polpharma (10-10) beat 16th ranked TBV Start (4-16) in Starogard 85-70. Polpharma made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Lithuanian center Martynas Sajus (208-96) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Thomas Davis (198-91, college: SW Oklahoma St.) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Polpharma players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (199-89) produced 23 points and American guard Nicholas Covington (188-85, college: Oklahoma City) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Polpharma. They maintain eleventh place with 10-10 record. TBV Start at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Polpharma's next round opponent will be higher ranked Rosa (#7) in Radom and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TBV Start will play at home against AZS Polfarmex (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
