Regular Season Round 19: Wildcats - Kings 101-74

Date: February 10, 2017
Rather expected game when 6th ranked Kings (13-15) were crushed on the road by fourth ranked Perth Wildcats (15-13) 101-74 on Friday. The game without a history. Perth Wildcats led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kings' players. It was a great evening for American swingman Casey Prather (198-91, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Bryce Cotton (185-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 21 points. Four Perth Wildcats players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 19 points and the former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) scored 15 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Hawks and Taipans. Kings lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost.
