The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Sakarya BSB (19-4) in Istanbul on Friday night. Visitors were edged by fifth ranked Acibadem (16-7) 71-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sakarya BSB. 25 personal fouls committed by Sakarya BSB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jason Maxiell (201-83, college: Cincinnati) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Acibadem's coach Serhan Aydanarig used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and center Hakan Yapar (202-84) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Acibadem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 16-7 record, which they share with Bursaspor. Sakarya BSB at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Eskisehir Basket. Acibadem is looking forward to face Akhisar Bld (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sakarya BSB will play against Muglaorman (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
