The most interesting game of round 6 in the LBF was a home defeat of 4th ranked Sampaio (5-7) to third ranked Santo Andre (6-6) 62-49 in the game for the third place. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 62-49. Santo Andre dominated on the defensive end, holding Sampaio to just 6 points in second quarter. The former international forward Jaqueline Silvestre (178-86) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Thaissa Frediani (166-89) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists during the contest.
