Regular Season Round 6: Pacific Caesar - Aspac 76-80

The game between Top Four teams took place in Surabaya. 4th ranked host Pacific Caesar (3-3) lost to second ranked Aspac (4-1) 80-76. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pacific Caesar won third quarter 26-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Aspac won last quarter 15-12. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Pierre Henderson-Niles (203-87, college: Memphis) scored 9 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Anthony Hangrove (200-89) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aspac have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with CLS Knights. Pacific Caesar at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Aspac will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pacific Caesar will play on the road against Satya Wacana (#11) in Salatiga and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
