Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Cento (14-6) edged on the road 9th ranked Milano Urania (8-12) 72-71 on Saturday. They outrebounded Milano Urania 38-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Cento especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Mattia Caroldi (186-82) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Luca Pignatti (198-86) who added 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Cento and five Milano Urania players scored in double figures. Cento maintains fourth position in B with 14-6 record. Loser Milano Urania dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. Cento will face Iseo (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Milano Urania will play against Sestu (#15) and hope to win that game.
