There was an upset when 4th placed Legnano (13-8) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Scafati (6-15) 91-84 on Sunday. Scafati made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game, while Legnano only scored nine points from the stripe. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for Maltese-American Darryl Jackson (190-85, college: Warner Pacific, agency: Diamond Sports) who led his team to a victory with 25 points. Israeli point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 assists for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Scafati moved-up to fourteenth place in A2. Loser Legnano keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Scafati will face higher ranked FCM Ferentino (#13) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Legnano will play against Mens Sana 1871 (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
