The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 17-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-78. Palanga made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Mantvydas Staselis (189-94) chipped in 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Palanga players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Matas Sapiega (178-90) who recorded 21 points and 7 assists and point guard Martynas Zigmantavicius (187-96) added 10 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Palanga maintains ninth position with 18-19 record. Newly promoted KTU keeps the eleventh place with 23 games lost. They share the position with Mazeikiai. Palanga will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KTU will play against Ezerunas-Karys (#13) in Moletai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
