There was no surprise when 16th ranked Nysa Klodzko (5-18) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked GTK Gliwice (15-8) 67-60 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Damian Pieloch (195-89) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. GTK Gliwice's coach Pawel Turkiewicz used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Aleksander Lenczuk (193-93) produced 20 points and forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. GTK Gliwice maintains fourth place with 15-8 record. Loser Nysa Klodzko stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. GTK Gliwice will face AZS AGH Krk. (#14) in Krakow in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nysa Klodzko will play at home against GKS Tychy and hope to win that game.
