Regular Season Round 39: Aomori Watts - Ehime OV 64-78

Another interesting game for Orange Vikings (17-20) which played on the court of Aomori Watts (16-21). Fourth ranked Orange Vikings had an easy win 78-64. The game was mostly controlled by Orange Vikings. Aomori Watts was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Orange Vikings forced 19 Aomori Watts turnovers. It was a great evening for U.S. Virgin Islands center Craig Williams (206-89, college: TCU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Yoshihumi Nakajima (176-90) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Alan Wiggins (206-85, college: USF) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and American-Ugandan center Brandon Sebirumbi (205-90, college: Furman, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orange Vikings maintains fourth place with 17-20 record which they share with defeated Aomori Watts. Aomori Watts at the other side keep the fourth position with 21 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aomori Watts will play again at home against Orange Vikings (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
