There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Sangiorgese (9-12) was edged on the road by thirteenth ranked Siena Virtus (9-12) 75-72 on Saturday. Siena Virtus made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Simone Lenardon (189-85) who scored 21 points and 7 assists. Guard Ferdinando Nasello (194-95) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Daniele-Mario Benzoni (196-80) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Simone Tomasini (196-93) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Siena Virtus moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Desio.
