LFB top team - Lattes Montpellier (14-4) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Tarbes (4-14) 54-50. It was a good game for international guard Gaelle Skrela (177-83) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. The former international center Elodie Godin (191-85) contributed with 7 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Australian center Abby Bishop (189-88, agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds and center Elodie Christmann (190-84) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tarbes. Lattes Montpellier have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-4 record, which they share with Flammes. Tarbes lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Lyon. Lattes Montpellier is looking forward to face Mondeville (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Tarbes will play against the league's second-placed Flammes (#2) in Charleville and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
