Regular Season Round 21: L'Hospitalet - Cambados 68-91

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Cambados (14-7) rolled over on the road 12th ranked L'Hospitalet (8-13) 91-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Cambados led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (199-94) nailed 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and forward Juan Rubio (196-95) accounted for 13 points. Four Cambados players scored in double figures. Forward Alex Reina (192-89) came up with 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Daniel Garcia (185-98) added 7 points and 8 assists respectively for L'Hospitalet in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Cambados. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Avila. Newly promoted L'Hospitalet keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Cambados will meet at home league's leader CB Granada in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. L'Hospitalet will play against Agustinos-Leclerc (#11) in Leon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
