Regular Season Round 38: Shandong GS - Qingdao E. 112-111

Twelfth-ranked Qingdao Eagles (16-22) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Shandong Bulls (22-16) in Jinan. Shandong Bulls managed to secure only one-point victory 112-111. However their fans expected easier game. Shandong Bulls made 24-of-31 charity shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Qingdao Eagles only scored eight points from the stripe. 29 personal fouls committed by Qingdao Eagles helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Yanyuhang Ding (200-93) notched 31 points to lead the effort and American point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington) supported him with 27 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 11 assists by American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) did not help to save the game for Qingdao Eagles. Greek center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-84) added 17 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Shandong Bulls moved-up to eighth place. Qingdao Eagles at the other side keep the twelfth position with 22 games lost.
