Regular Season Round 20: Valle de Egues - Mondragon 64-63

Everything could happen in Olaz at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Valle de Egues and 7th ranked Mondragon had identical 7-9 record. This time Valle de Egues used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Mondragon 64-63 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 64-63. Valle de Egues forced 19 Mondragon turnovers. The best player for the winners was Ivorian power forward Kouassi Konan (204-91) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Javier Valderrey chipped in 14 points.
