Toros upset Panteras in Game 4 of the quarterfinal series to seal their semifinal appearance. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-59. Toros outrebounded Panteras 39-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international center Lorenzo Mata (205-86, agency: Pro Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Adrian Henning (203-82, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 16 points. Toros' coach Jose Martinez Boglio used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Fernando Benitez (204-89) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Karim Scott (-88) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
