Regular Season Round 21: Scauri - Roma Luiss 71-64

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Roma Luiss (11-10) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked Scauri (10-10) 71-64 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (197-83) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Luca Antonietti (198-94, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Andrea Scuderi (188-92) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Simone Pozzetti (193-90) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Four Roma Luiss players scored in double figures. Scauri moved-up to eighth place in B. Loser Roma Luiss dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Scauri will face Patti (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
