Regular Season Round 27: Bank of Taiwan - Taiwan Beer 72-74

Seventh-ranked Bank of Taiwan (7-23) gave a tough game to second ranked Taiwan Beer (18-12) on Friday. Taiwan Beer managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. Strangely Bank of Taiwan outrebounded Taiwan Beer 49-33 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. International point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-91) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 22 rebounds and the former international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Taiwan Beer went down to third position due to points difference. Bank of Taiwan lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games.
