Regular Season Round 21: Santfeliuenc - Olivar 59-71

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Olivar (6-12) defeated higher ranked Santfeliuenc (7-11) in Sant Feliu 71-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Olivar. Santfeliuenc was better in second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Czech swingman Simon Pursl (203-97) who led his team to a victory with 22 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Forward Jaime Pradilla (198-1) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Four Olivar players scored in double figures. Guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Lluis Molina (190-85) added 17 points in the effort for Santfeliuenc. Olivar moved-up to twelfth place in Group C-A, which they share with Mataro and Barna. Santfeliuenc lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Olivar will face higher ranked Sant Nicolau (#11) in Sabadell in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
