Regular Season Round 22: Cambados - Granada 76-63

There was a change at the LEB Silver leadership position after last games. Round 22 most important game was a defeat of league's leader CB Granada (16-7). They were defeated by fifth ranked Cambados (15-7) 76-63 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of CB Granada. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. American guard Brantley Osborne (193-91, college: Shepherd) scored 16 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Erik Quintela (184-91) chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Osborne is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Jamaican forward Tyran De-Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and the former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cambados have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Avila. CB Granada at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sammic ISB. CB Granada will play next round against Agustinos-Leclerc trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Cambados will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila.
