No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (16-8) beat 14th ranked CB Prat (10-15) in Lugo 90-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. CB Prat was better in second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Leche Rio Breogan made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Leche Rio Breogan outrebounded CB Prat 38-26 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for American center Matt Stainbrook (208-92, college: Xavier, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Rafael Huertas (191-84, agency: Court Side) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Guard Xavier Forcada (194-88) answered with 17 points and guard Alex Ros (193-83) added 17 points in the effort for CB Prat. Five Leche Rio Breogan and four CB Prat players scored in double figures. CB Prat's coach gave the chance to play for eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leche Rio Breogan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Loser CB Prat keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Leche Rio Breogan will face Castello (#12) in Castellon in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CB Prat will play at home against Oviedo CB and hope to win that game.
