Regular Season Round 25: Quimper - RAC Basket 83-52

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Quimper. Second ranked Quimper UJAP faced 4th placed Rueil. Host Quimper UJAP (18-7) smashed guests from Rueil (16-9) 83-52. The game without a history. Quimper UJAP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rueil's 34. Quimper UJAP forced 19 Rueil turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Rueil's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jahsha Bluntt (198-84, college: Delaware St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) contributed with 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Jeremy Bichard (186-90) answered with 12 points and American power forward Ron Anderson (205-89, college: S.Florida) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rueil. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Quimper UJAP maintains second place with 18-7 record behind leader Caen. Rueil at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Quimper UJAP will play against Vitre (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rueil will play against Vendee Challans (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
