An exciting game was played in Montana. Second ranked Montana 2003 faced 4th placed Neftochimic. Host Montana 2003 (8-4) defeated guests from Burgas (4-8) 73-62. Montana 2003 outrebounded Neftochimic 46-19 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Montana 2003's coach Stefan Mihaylov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Puerto Rican guard Ashley Prim (170-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who recorded 17 points and 5 assists and Slovenian center Tina Trebec (190-90) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second place with 8-4 record having just two points less than leader Haskovo 2012, which they share with Beroe. Neftochimic lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Montana 2003 is looking forward to face league's leader Haskovo 2012 at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Neftochimic will play against Septemvri in Sofia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
