Very important is a road loss of second ranked Inter Bratislava (24-9) against sixth ranked Iskra Svit (17-16) on Wednesday night. Visiting Inter Bratislava was defeated by Iskra Svit in a tough game in Svit 72-80. It was a good game for Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-93, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international forward Pavol Losonsky (203-88, college: Cal-Irvine) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Iskra Svit maintains sixth position with 17-16 record. Inter Bratislava at the other side keeps the second place with nine games lost. Iskra Svit will play against league's leader Kosice on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Inter Bratislava will play against Nova Ves and hopes to get back on the winning track.
